The privileges of CDA membership are dying. I won't renew for next year. No benefits.

We used to attend class reunions there and party all night long but those days are long gone. Stopped being a social event so why bother?

I went today. it was much smaller than I remember and very few people in the aisles. Only spent an hour there.

Our entire office has to close for a week due to Covid last year. We believe we got it at the Anaheim show and our doctor has forbid us to attend this year. He has heard something about a "super spreader" among exhibitors. No one in the office is upset by this decision.

Working Thursday & Friday and Saturday is Armed Forces Day...will be barbecuing for lots of soldiers on base.

Our doctor pays us to go to the convention and we are to remain by his side like a blonde harem. But it beats cleaning the lab. 🙂

Disneyland used to draw us to the CDA but not since Covid.

Last year the parking situation was so bad I won't go this year. Not taking a tram!

I'm exhibiting again this year but not accepting any dinner party invitations. I and several others contracted Covid last year regret partying. The show was very slow, if it's like that this year it will be my last time in Anaheim. The costs keeping going up while attendance by doctors keeps dropping. Not the event it was for decades.

i voted yes but the doctor, hygeneist and office mgr don't go...just the assistants.

Our staff still goes but my partner & I (both dentists) don't attend the CDA in Anaheim. Just not much there to see.

Free CE...what's not to love? But I no longer walk the entire exhibits hall, I visit a few people/booths and leave. Most of the dentists i used to see at the show (from my grad class) aren't there any more. Not a popular social event since Covid.

My practice is open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Stopped going decades ago. Better deals found online.

I have to rearrange my sock drawer.

Never went.

No parking, no bargains, no parties, no courtesy lounges, no bartenders on site...it's not what it once was.
